This 36-inch by 200-yard VCI paper roll is a chemically treated, nitrate-free wrapping paper certified to MIL-PRF-3420H military specification. Volatile corrosion inhibitors continuously vaporize from the paper's surface, forming a protective micro-environment around enclosed ferrous metal parts that blocks rust, corrosion, and oxidation without direct-contact coatings or oils.
This roll is well-suited for manufacturers, exporters, and warehouses packaging iron and steel components for transit or long-term storage. Typical applications include wrapping individual parts, lining wooden crates and shipping containers, and interleaving between stacked metal stampings, castings, or machined parts. Note that this product is not recommended for nickel-containing components or non-ferrous metals.
For effective protection, apply one square foot of paper per one cubic foot of packaging volume, fully enclosing the metal part. The roll weighs approximately 34.22 lbs. and is sold as a single unit. Ships via parcel carrier.
